Another year wiser

Its my birthday today. Alhamdulilah (all praise to Allah) for the life He gives me. I'm very grateful for everything I have today especially my little family. We are not perfect. We scream, we fight, we make up, we laugh together, then we fight and scream again. But my husband and I always trying to give the kids a memorable if not the best childhood they can have.

We had a short getaway over the weekend. Just a 45mins drive from home since Hubs didn't want to go anywhere further than that haha. I will post a blog review on the place next. For now its enough to say that the hotel didn't meet our expectation as a 5 star hotel.

Happy Birthday to myself. May we be blessed with good health and life. I pledge to live my life by the day and not taking it too seriously. Let us learn to embrace the life as it is. Imperfect is perfect in all way possible.

Oh Boy Oh Boy

Alhamdulillah (all praise to God), we have welcomed our 3rd bundle of joy to this world on Monday, 21st August 2017.

Fresh from the oven!

Fresh from the oven!

Introducing Ali Fateh Saifuddin. Born at 12:21pm, weighing at 2.6kg with a height of 48cm. He is by far, the lightest and smallest baby I've ever had (his 2 brothers were born at 3.27kg and 3.5kg respectively). I was so scared that i'm gonna break his bones or hurt him whenever i hold him (especially during breastfeeding and bath time) *cringe*. He came into this world 12 days early, btw.

So what does his name means? I have always liked the name 'ALI' cause its very nice and simple. Plus it is the name of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. (Peace be upon Him) son in law (he married his daughter Fatimah) who was a very pious and trustworthy man in his time. Fateh was a name chosen by Hubs which means Conqueror (he thinks its a very 'macho' and 'manly' name and he likes the meaning of course).

This entry is actually long due. Ali is 44 days today which means I am off my Pantang (confinement) period. Hooray! The plan was to blog everyday during my pantang days but I guess it didn't happen. I thought I was gonna have all the time by myself as I planned to stay at my own house with the baby during confinement. I did not not foresee how overwhelmed I was gonna be.

So that was a little news and intro on Ali.

Till next entry.
